Did you know there is a right way to burn a candle?

Actually, there is. Therefore for our second essay assignment, I will be creating a set of instructions on how to properly burn a Bath and Body Works three wick candle.

  2. I agree, this is an interesting topic to choose. My family goes through candles like its their job and I never realized that there was proper way to burn them.

  3. Yes actually its kind of funny, but if you burn a candle properly you can get the best bang for your buck! You can also prevent soot from collecting on your ceilings as well. It's all in the way you burn it!

  5. Does it differ for yankee type candles? As opposed to the long, skinny, dining table type kind.

    1. Yes, each candle does have different burning times - some longer than others to burn effectively.However, one of the most essential steps is to always keep your wicks trimmed to at least 1/8 of an inch. This will help reduce the amount of soot that is produced.
